Chris travels to California quite a bit for work, but it's been a really long time since he's had to stay overnight. Tonight, though, his flight home was canceled and the next one was at 6 in the morning. I always sleep with the phone on his pillow when he's gone. You know, just in case.
Just in case he wakes up in the middle of the night trying to solve the world's problems. I know, Allie, I know.

ReplyDeleteTotally been there and done that. I'm so glad Zack's current job doesn't require him to travel requently to Tijuana like his old job did. ...you know, 'cuz I was always afraid he'd get shot.
