Interesting- they are called bubblers here in Brisbane (not going to vouch for the rest of the country), but I had never heard the term before I moved here, and thought it was an australian term.
Only the ones shown in the link are called bubblers here - the rest are just water fountains. There are something like 58 in Portland, and only one other anywhere else in the world.

ReplyDeleteHmm, the ones here are definitely not the same ( apart from the freely running water-a giant no-no), so don't know why the same term
