Day 294: Infestation

Every year these guys take over my tree.  The problem seems to clear itself up at the beginning of November, though, so I don't worry too much.

    I'm not sure why, but this picture creeps me out.

    I think it probably has something to do with the fact that it looks like the ghost has literally been hung, as in strung up with a noose, in my front yard. They're less disturbing from a distance, but I haven't figured out how to make them entirely un-disturbing yet. Any thoughts?
